The Italian firm Lector, renowned for its CD players with tube output stages and for the hybrid integrated amps (soon on TNT-Audio), has jumped into the DVD wagon designing its first DVD player, the DV-1, that we're proud to announce here as a World Premiere.
The Lector DV-1 is a
multi-features DVD/VCD/CD-Audio player with a built-in Dolby Digital
AC-3 5.1 decoder, so it is ready to play either your favourite Music
and your fav movies for a high quality Home Theater experience.
It
has several outputs: digital coax and optical AC-3 and PCM, S-Video
and Video-composite, besides the usual stereo analog jacks.
It is
very versatile: Slow Motion, Multi-language, Multy-Story features are
available and everything is under your control by means of an
easy-to-use infrared remote.
The dimensions of the dark silver
finished cabinet are standard: 43 cm width, 8.7 cm height and 29.5 cm
depth. The DV-1 has a centrally mounted transport.
Let me add that it is
a pleasure to see that we Italians are capable to design and build
top-notch HiFi gear with the latest technologies and not only
wood-finished loudspeakers.
Stay tuned with TNT-Audio for the
latest listening tests of the Lector HiFi components.
